AR 292. Verse 14. And the four animals said, Amen, signifies Divine confirmation from the Word. That "the four animals" or cherubs signify the Word, may be seen in (n. 239); and that "amen" signifies Divine confirmation from truth itself (n. 23, 28, 61), thus from the Word.

AR 293. And the twenty-four elders fell down and adored Him that liveth for ever and ever, signifies humiliation before the Lord, and from humiliation, adoration of Him by all in the heavens, in Whom and from Whom is eternal life, as in (n. 251, 58, 60).
