Verses:
1-6:
Ignorance of truth and non-understanding of the Word will enter and begin to destroy the church.

7-9:
It is foretold that this will not take place as yet,

10-16:
but it will at the time when the Lord comes into the world.

17-20:
Then all understanding of the Word will be perverted by knowledges [scientifica] and by reasonings from them, until nothing remains.

Then truth will be taught in all abundance.

The church will then be wholly devastated.
